Situated at the northern entrance of Marrakesh, just beyond the historic bridge
which spans the Tensift river, the Palmeraie Golf Club is part of the
magnificent residential complex the « Jardins de la Palmeraie ».
A real masterpiece, the Palmeraie Golf Course is a creation of Robert Trent
Jones, the man of 500 golf courses. No-one else could have succeeded better
than he amongst the ancient palm trees facing the snow covered peaks of the
Atlas mountain range, an imposing work where fairways, greens, bunkers and
lakes are found together in harmony.
Many residences, villas, duplexes and apartments of great standing are found
within close proximity of the golf and its infrastructure: tennis club, an
equestrian centre, swimming pool, restaurants, fitness club, hotel, shops,
bowling alley etc.
The club house, in itself a mini palace with superb local architecture, is
found at the heart of the course with its restaurant and terraces giving onto
the Atlas mountain range.
